DOB: 2/14/2023 Like the quiet melody of a sitar at dusk, Boysie moves with grace and mystery. This sweet and loving young fellow has just turned two, but his story carries the weight of a journey far longer. Left behind when his people moved away, he now waits for a home where love is a promise never broken. With big, round eyes that give him a quizzical expression and a charming little stumpy tail, Boysie is as unique as he is endearing. Though a little shy at first, he melts beneath gentle pets and adores the company of people. He also has a playful side, delighting in games that bring out his youthful spirit. If you seek a companion as serene as the Ganges at dawn and as loyal as an old ghazal, Boysie is waiting. Could you be the purrfect person to provide him with his furever home? Come meet me at Petco Lennox Town Center !! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. **If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**
Adoption Process
We have an application that requires the potential adopter to wait until their application can be verified. Once everything checks out the adopter comes and picks up their new fur member of the family and signs a contract. One of the highlights of our contract states that if for ANY reason at ANY time they cannot care for the animal, they must return the cat or dog back to Colony Cats (& dogs). Our adoption fees are $100 for kittens (4 months and younger), $85 for kittens 5 or 6 months, $75 for adult cats, $50 for Wise Whiskers (7 years and older). We often have adoption specials where the adoption fees are lowered. The adoption fee includes the animals already being spayed/neutered, Feline Leukemia and FIV tested (cats), heartworm tested (dogs), all vaccinations (FVRCP and DHLPP), rabies vaccine (if kittens or puppies adopted are not old enough to have received a rabies vaccine, then the new owner will need to go to their vet to get this done), microchip, flea/tick/heartworm preventative.
