Meet Kalliope

A SPECIAL CAT FOR A SPECIAL NEEDS HUMAN Meet Kalliope, Kalli for short. She was bottle raised by her foster mom from age 3 weeks. That means essentially being with mom, the foster, 24/7. As a result Kalliope is extremely attached to her human and prefers physical contact over hanging out with the adult cats in the home she grew up in! She has an enormous capacity for affection towards her human, sleeps snuggled close, is constantly sitting on shoulders, necks, chests and laps, while purring loudly and joyfully! Just the greeting in the morning upon waking can take 20 minutes of snuggling. kissing and purring! She asks to be picked up by sitting on her haunches and raising her front legs up, like a human child would, even walking a few steps on her hind legs!!! This behavior makes her an ideal companion and emotional support animal for a human with special needs. She would do well with any human who would always be there due to life's circumstances. She has never been alone! Even when her human mom needed to leave for a while, there were 7 other cats there to keep her company! So other cats aren't a problem, but she is a fearless, little Alpha Cat that will take over the roost, but will rule with velvet claws and lots of kisses!
