My husband and I have been rescuing animals for about 8 years by working with other rescue groups. We felt it was time for us to take matters into our own hands to get some of the many rescues we have adopted into their forever homes. We work with our local animal control to find homes for unclaimed dogs and we have many of the animals that others decided were to hard to get adopted. We want every animal to find the perfect home. Our local friends are a great help in getting to word out on those in need of homes. We are an environmentally friendly rescue. We utilize both veterinary medicine and natural healing to ensure the health of our animals.

Meet Kira

Kira grew up in a foster home with a tiny sibling and 6 adult cats and is very used to a huge family! She is a gentle soul, a little on the shy side, watching carefully before she engages. Her impression of greased lightning, however, is full of kitten energy and joyful zest for life! She is affectionate with her human, likes to snuggle and knead, while suckling and purring. She understands how to be a cat but is fully used to a human household. She will sleep with you and enjoys any kind of play, as long as it's not too wild! She will do well with other cats but hasn't ever experienced children or dogs. If you are looking for a gentle, relaxed kitty for your household she's the one for you!
