High Plateau Humane Society

HPHS was founded in 1987 and we rescue about 120 dogs and 250 cats per year. We are an all-volunteer organization and run a thrift store, called Second Chance Thrift, from which we adopt out animals and sell our low-cost spay and neuter certificates. We have a number volunteers, including a board of five. We do this because we have a passion to rescue orphaned and homeless animals and want to make life better for the animals in our county.

Toro is a soft gray and white tuxedo kitten. His mama, Talia, was an excellent mother, teaching him and his litter mates all the things a kitten needs to know to get along with other cats and people. Adoption Process
When someone releases an animal to HPHS, we require a signed release form. We then have the animal vaccinated and spayed or neutered before offering it for adoption. Adoption fees vary and are listed with each animal.
