High Plateau Humane Society

HPHS was founded in 1987 and we rescue about 120 dogs and 250 cats per year. We are an all-volunteer organization and run a thrift store, called Second Chance Thrift, from which we adopt out animals and sell our low-cost spay and neuter certificates. We have a number volunteers, including a board of five. We do this because we have a passion to rescue orphaned and homeless animals and want to make life better for the animals in our county.

Meet Utah

Utah was part of a litter born across town, lovingly socialized in a beautiful backyard garden by their rescuer. Friendly & handsome, energetic, playful. HPHS offers a $20 discount to multi-cat adopters. To meet these & all our fine felines, come into Second Chance Thrift Store W-F 10-2 or middle Saturdays 10-1. Email questions to [email protected].

Adoption Process
When someone releases an animal to HPHS, we require a signed release form. We then have the animal vaccinated and spayed or neutered before offering it for adoption. Adoption fees vary and are listed with each animal.
