Wow. I am still wondering what happened because my life has been turned upside down for a couple of months now. I was a happy girl until my mom passed away and I was suddenly left alone after being with her all my life. Luckily, some friends of hers stepped up to make sure I was taken care of by making sure I was okay. Another friend took me in when the landlord said I had to get out of the apartment, but she isn't a "cat" person and really didn't know much about cats. She did her best but they finally called SCC and I was able to go to a foster home. I am still sad and taking a little time to get my bearings, but I am trying. My foster mom says I am very sweet and I do like scratches and petting but I don't have much of an appetite, even though I have some of the same food from my home. I have had all my medical stuff updated and the vet says I am healthy even though I just turned 11 years old. I have a short-hair, calico/torti colored coat that is very pretty and a very quiet meow - until I have to be in a carrier! I get a little nervous thinking I'm having to go somewhere new again but I'm okay once I realize I'm still with the same person. If you have a nice quiet, indoor-only home and just want a sweet girl for company, look me up! I am on the website and if you fill out the app at sccpets.com, we can meet to see if we're a good match for each other.
