Meet Angela
Angela is a beautiful long-haired gray tabby and white female about 6 months old (DOB about 6/1/24). She was one of many cats and kittens trapped at an abandoned house. She's more than happy to sit in your arms on your lap, but she's not assertive and won't make the first move. She lives in a foster home with her siblings and a small dog, and we think she will be good with older kids. She is ready for her own new, permanent home. She loves to play with toys or other cats and is never bored. She's negative for feline leukemia and aids, has had her first distemper and rabies vaccines, been wormed, vet checked, and spayed. The second (final) FVRCP booster is included in the adoption fee. Preference will be given to adopters who have a young playmate/companion for the kitten. We typically do not adopt kittens to homes where they will be a solo pet. If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or [email protected].
Adoption Process
Potential adopters are required to complete our application before adoption. Our adoption fee varies based on the age and breed of the cat. The fee includes testing for feline leukemia and aids, the series of distemper vaccines, the rabies vaccines, wormings, advantage so they are flea free when you take them home, a veterinary exam, and the spay or neuter. Microchipping is available for an additional $45. The adoption fee is waived for qualifying adopters interested in one of our sponsored cats.
At the time of adoption, adopters must sign a contract indicating their willingness to obtain all remaining vaccinations, treatments, and spay or neuter. If a placement doesn't work out (e.g., a family member discovers he/she is allergic), the animal is returned to the Stray Connection and re-adopted.
