Meet PEARL

PEARL arrived at the shelter through an owner surrender in early July 2024 already pregnant. Eventually, she gave birth but was ill and unable to care for her kittens so they were transferred to another mother cat. PEARL is estimated at 2 to 3 years of age. She is a dilute tortoiseshell with a short hair coat. Obviously, she has not yet been spayed. That must be done before she can go home with you as your own. She is a sweet and gentle girl and is coming out of her shyness now that the worst of her situation is behind her and she is feeling so much better. She is a beautiful girl and is hopeful that she will be able to find a new person or family to adopt her soon. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash, cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!

Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
