Meet CERSEI (Spayed!)

CERSEI is a spayed female adult cat. She was scared when she first arrived at the shelter, but has come around now and is happy to be on the receiving end of the loving pets and scratches around her ears and down her back. CERSEI is about three years of age and mostly gray with a brown tint to her coat. She was surrendered in mid February 2025 and is available for adoption. Her intake weight was about 7 1/2 pounds. Because she is already spayed, she can go home the same day that she is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking an adult size cat carrier with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt CERSEI or one of the other spayed or neutered cats currently at the shelter. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!

Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
