Meet PHOEBE

10-month-old PHOEBE is another beautiful short haired gray and white cat. This girl was surrendered by her owner at the beginning of March 2025. She has already been found sitting on the window ledge, soaking up the sun‘s rays and chilling on the floor next to a cat tree when she wants a break from the warm sun. She is sweet and friendly and is available for adoption. However, she does still need to be spayed before she can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! 

Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
