Meet Ruby

Ruby is a pretty short-haired deep brown, almost red looking female cat about 4 years old.  She loves people and is definitely a lap cat. She’s chatty and enjoys following her humans around the house.   She is a peaceful, calm cat.  She is good with kids and other cats and is unphased by dogs.  Ruby’s owner is trying to rehome her because she has exhibited some inappropriate elimination in her current home with other pets.  Since the owner has kept her separated from the other pets, she has used the litter box faithfully.  She is current on her vaccinations and otherwise healthy.  Adopters will receive a copy of her vet records upon adoption.  If interested in this cutie pie, please contact Holly at 865-671-4564 or [email protected]  

Adoption Process
Potential adopters are required to complete our application before adoption. Our adoption fee varies based on the age and breed of the cat. The fee includes testing for feline leukemia and aids, the series of distemper vaccines, the rabies vaccines, wormings, advantage so they are flea free when you take them home, a veterinary exam, and the spay or neuter. Microchipping is available for an additional $45. The adoption fee is waived for qualifying adopters interested in one of our sponsored cats. At the time of adoption, adopters must sign a contract indicating their willingness to obtain all remaining vaccinations, treatments, and spay or neuter. If a placement doesn't work out (e.g., a family member discovers he/she is allergic), the animal is returned to the Stray Connection and re-adopted.
