Meet ORION (Neutered!)

ORION first arrived at the shelter in July 2022. At that time he was estimated to be about 8 to 10 months old. He was later adopted and was neutered before he went home with his family. However, as of April 2024 he is back at the shelter and is getting reacquainted with the staff and their loving care. So, he is almost 2 1/2 years of age now. Because he is already neutered, he will be able to go home the same day that he is adopted. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking an adult size cat carrier with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt ORION. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!

Adoption Process
Adoption contract, Adoption fee of $50 per cat and $80 per dog set by county commission and subject to change, drivers license and cash or check only. The adoption fees currently cover most, but not all, of the spay/neuter cost incurred by the county.
