*** Courtesy Post – Sassy’s adoption is not through the Euless Animal Shelter *** Meet Sassy Kitty Sassy, a black, female cat began her life as a stray cat in Dallas, Texas. When she appeared at her colony’s feeding station with a severe limp her life changed significantly. Sassy’s back left back leg required amputation. Making this transition from outside to inside has not been an easy one for this 5 year old cat. She was tormented by her foster’s 3 dogs requiring her to live a solitary life in a spare bedroom. Sassy’s foster wants to find her a safe inside/outside home. Sassy’s vet believes she is quite capable of defending herself but we don’t want to chance that. She can be petted and could easily become an inside/outside cat. If you are interested in adopting her, please send an email to [email protected]
Adoption Process
Adopters must complete an adoption contract and be approved by a GAP representative or the foster parent before adoption. All dogs are required to be put on or continue their heartworm preventative and are highly encouraged to be on flea preventative.
Adoption fees from the Euless Animal Shelter are: male dogs & cats = $60, female dogs and cats = $85. Male puppies under 4months $125, female puppies under 4months $150 to cover all puppy vaccine series, deworming, and neutering. Adoption fees for animals in foster: male dogs = $100, female dogs = $125 (this includes heart worm testing in addition to the vaccines and neutering). Cats in foster are $60 for males and $85 for females. If an animal has a different adoption fee, it will be listed on their specific adoption page.
