  DOB 1/21/21 Hey there, everyone! I’m Kewpie, and I got my name because, like the proverbial Kewpie doll, I have large eyes and shoot my Cupid-arrows into everyone's heart. With my beautiful snowy coat and aloof expression, I may look like I’m “too cool for school,” but don’t let that fool you! I’m actually an incredibly loving and affectionate kitty. Beneath my calm exterior lies a gentle soul who’s all about spreading love and warm vibes. My favorite relaxing spot is curled up in Foster Meowmy’s lap, where I make “biscuits” and happily purr as she rubs my belly. When I’ve had enough attention, I’ll politely let her know with a soft little nudge or a gentle stretch. I’m the definition of gentle—no matter what life throws my way. Whether kids pet me harder than necessary or another cat or dog sneaks a bite of my food, I don’t sweat it. I patiently move on without a fuss. I’m incredibly easygoing and always remain steady as well as graceful—even in the chaos. Being around me is like a breath of fresh air. My calm, gentle presence has a way of soothing your soul and making everything feel a little more peaceful. I’m the perfect companion for someone who seeks a quiet, affectionate friend with whom to share their life. If you’re having a rough day, I’ll be right there to comfort you with my soothing purrs, gentle cuddles, and even my silly faces. My previous owner fell ill and had to move to an assisted-living facility. Sadly, her family didn’t want to take responsibility for me and dumped me outside to fend for myself. Can you imagine someone’s abandoning a sweet beauty like me? Fortunately a HOPE volunteer rescued me as an outdoor, intact female stray and made sure that I was spayed and fully vetted. She turned me over to my foster meowmy to get the kind of love and attention I deserve until I can find a new forever family. I’m so relieved to be safely indoors again! I’m incredibly grateful for every cozy spot and every loving touch. I don’t require constant attention, and I’m perfectly content to relax in cubbyholes around the house. But my favorite spot is next to Foster Meowmy. Now I’m ready to nestle into the hearts of my forever family. I’d fit like a glove into a variety of household dynamics, which could include young kids, other cats, or dogs.
