Meet Rain
Meet Rain, a handsome silver tabby with the softest fur you’ve ever felt. Rain is a confident and social party animal, always ready to hangout with people and pets alike. While he enjoys attention and seeks out affection, he’s happiest with all four feet on the ground—unless it’s bedtime, when he curls up next to your legs on the bed to purr away. Rain has a playful streak and is full of personality. He loves climbing, exploring, and playing with his favorite toys—wand toys, stuffed mice, and crinkle balls are his go-to choices. He’s well-mannered and interactive, making him a joy to have around. Rain is also food-motivated, so meal times are sure to be filled with meows of excitement. When he wants attention or a snack, he isn’t shy about letting you know. When it’s time to cat nap, Rain loves cozying up in a cat cube, lounging on the bed, or relaxing near other animals. While he isn’t a lap cat, he’s incredibly affectionate in his own way—seeking out pets, snuggles, and love without being overly demanding. Rain is great with other cats and has a special knack for making friends with adult cats, though he’s equally open to making friends with dogs. He’s had nothing but positive interactions with people, from adults to children, and isn’t shy around anyone. Whether it’s a stranger or a familiar face, Rain greets them with the same charming, sociable energy. Rain is the perfect mix of independent and interactive. He’d do great in a medium to high energy household looking for a social and silly guy. He’s ready to bring his playful, loving spirit to a forever home!
Adoption Process
We ask potential adopters to fill out an application, which we review. We prefer to have the name and contact information for a current or former veterinarian.
We typically deliver the adopted pet(s) to the adopter's home, at which time a contract is signed. We ask for a $100 adoption donation, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, FIV and feline leukemia testing for cats, heartworm testing for dogs, and all veterinary records.
If for any reason an adoption does not work out, we take the animal back at any time during his or her life. Until the adopter and Thundering Paws decide together that the adoption is final, we will refund the adoption donation.
