COURTESY POST - This cat is not with FRAs. Please contact Victoria at 469-855-5722. Birdie is a young and spirited kitty with a lot of love to give. He’s a little over one year old, neutered, up-to-date on his rabies, FVRCP, and leukemia vaccines, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. While he’s scared of dogs, he enjoys playing with calm, docile cats. Birdie wandered frightened and hungry onto his foster mom's patio, and after a few nights of feeding him and trying to gain his trust, he eventually let her pick him up and bring him inside. He didn’t learn bite inhibition as a kitten, so when he’s playful or being handled, he may nip or use his teeth. Because of this, he’s best suited to a home with an experienced cat owner who understands and can manage these behaviors. He needs a patient adopter familiar with working with feisty or temperamental kitties. A meet-and-greet is highly recommended to ensure he’s the right fit for you. Despite his quirks, Birdie is a sweet and loving cat who deserves a forever home where he can thrive. If you’re interested in giving this unique kitty a chance, please contact Victoria at 469-855-5722
