Meet Opie

Opie is a handsome buff tabby with bright green eyes and a soft orange coat. He’s confident, affectionate, and always ready to be in the spotlight. Whether he’s climbing, exploring, or chasing toys, Opie brings a fun, energetic vibe to any room he’s in. When he’s not busy playing, he loves relaxing in his window hammock or swatting at his favorite wand toy. He’s a cuddly kitten who enjoys being brushed and petted, and he’s polite about asking for attention. Opie gets along well with the other cats in his home, though he’s not shy about speaking up when needed. Opie can be a little cautious around kids, but he’s very outgoing with adults. He’s quick to make friends and doesn’t mind being the center of attention when company comes over. With his playful nature and easygoing personality, Opie is the kind of cat who leaves a lasting impression. He’s full of life, fun to be around, and would make a great addition to a home that appreciates a little daily entertainment.

Adoption Process
We ask potential adopters to fill out an application, which we review. We prefer to have the name and contact information for a current or former veterinarian. We typically deliver the adopted pet(s) to the adopter's home, at which time a contract is signed. We ask for a $100 adoption donation, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, FIV and feline leukemia testing for cats, heartworm testing for dogs, and all veterinary records. If for any reason an adoption does not work out, we take the animal back at any time during his or her life. Until the adopter and Thundering Paws decide together that the adoption is final, we will refund the adoption donation.
