Meet Ruth

Ruth is an adorable black tuxedo kitten with bright yellow eyes and the cutest little white mitten paws and white patch on her chest. Though she might seem shy at first, Ruth quickly warms up once she’s had a chance to check things out. She’s curious, energetic, and loves to climb, especially at night when she’s feeling extra adventurous. Feather toys and her favorite ball track keep her happily entertained, and when she’s worn out, Ruth always finds the softest blankets for cozy naps. Ruth enjoys being around other kittens and is gentle and interactive with young adults and considerate kids. She appreciates pets (she’ll let you know with a sweet meow!), but prefers affection on her own terms, with all four paws safely on the ground. Her food motivation makes it easy to win her trust. If you’re searching for a playful, gentle companion full of personality, Ruth would love to meet you and bring plenty of smiles to your home!  

Adoption Process
We ask potential adopters to fill out an application, which we review. We prefer to have the name and contact information for a current or former veterinarian. We typically deliver the adopted pet(s) to the adopter's home, at which time a contract is signed. We ask for a $100 adoption donation, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, FIV and feline leukemia testing for cats, heartworm testing for dogs, and all veterinary records. If for any reason an adoption does not work out, we take the animal back at any time during his or her life. Until the adopter and Thundering Paws decide together that the adoption is final, we will refund the adoption donation.
