Meet Little Man
Little Man is a gentle, low-energy orange tabby with a quiet demeanor. He enjoys being pet and brushed, but can be a bit shy around sudden hand movements. He’s sweet-natured and will happily cuddle when approached calmly once he warms up and gets to know you. This smart little guy loves feather toys and has a knack for finding cozy spots in the middle of any room. He’s food-motivated and purrs when happy, but isn’t much of a talker and rarely meows. He takes a few days to adjust to new surroundings, but once he feels safe he’ll start to appear all around the home. You’ll know he feels at home once he starts to lounge around openly in rooms around the house. Little Man has had positive interactions with adults, kids, and even the senior chihuahua in his foster home! While he’s fine with considerate children, he’s a bit more reserved around strangers and prefers a calm environment. He’s do well with other friendly, calmer animals that match his energy levels and gentle nature. Little Man is the perfect fit for a laid-back, lower energy household looking for a sweet, well-mannered companion who appreciates a gentle and cozy approach to life.
Adoption Process
We ask potential adopters to fill out an application, which we review. We prefer to have the name and contact information for a current or former veterinarian.
We typically deliver the adopted pet(s) to the adopter's home, at which time a contract is signed. We ask for a $100 adoption donation, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, FIV and feline leukemia testing for cats, heartworm testing for dogs, and all veterinary records.
If for any reason an adoption does not work out, we take the animal back at any time during his or her life. Until the adopter and Thundering Paws decide together that the adoption is final, we will refund the adoption donation.
