Meet Gandalf, a dashing tuxedo with a charming black spot on his nose. This independent but confident guy is the life of the party, and knows how to bring the personality and charm.    Gandalf loves being brushed and is quite affectionate when approached, though he prefers to be picked up slowly and only after trust is established. This active, vocal kitten is always on the move, scaling furniture and chatting up a storm, especially at night. While he may seem aloof at times, Gandalf's silliness and playfulness shine through as he entertains himself with solo antics.   Although Gandalf isn't particularly toy-motivated, he adores having a feline playmate to chase and romp with. When it's time to recharge, you'll find this savvy kitten perched up high or nestled in a cozy nook, keeping a watchful eye on his domain. Gandalf has a penchant for conversation, meowing to let others know when he wants attention and playtime!   Despite his independent streak, Gandalf has proven to be quite the social butterfly. He's formed fast friendships with the other resident cats in his new home and enjoys the company of adults and children alike. With his dashing good looks and larger-than-life personality, this tuxedo charmer is sure to capture your heart.

Adoption Process
We ask potential adopters to fill out an application, which we review. We prefer to have the name and contact information for a current or former veterinarian. We typically deliver the adopted pet(s) to the adopter's home, at which time a contract is signed. We ask for a $100 adoption donation, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, FIV and feline leukemia testing for cats, heartworm testing for dogs, and all veterinary records. If for any reason an adoption does not work out, we take the animal back at any time during his or her life. Until the adopter and Thundering Paws decide together that the adoption is final, we will refund the adoption donation.
