Forgotten Felines of Culpeper

I have been rescuing for another group for 8 years, that group is in the process of dissolving. I am forming this group because there is a desperate need for it in this area. I believe that every cat deserves to have shelter from the elements, food, and humane care. I am hoping to lower the shelter's euthanasia rates, and help the community by taking in sick, orphaned, and abandoned cats through a network of foster homes, once expansion is necessary.

Meet Genevieve *kitten*

Meet Sophie's kittens! Sophie and her kittens came to us when a VA shelter was at capacity and needed to move cats out before possible euthanasia.Genevieve is a long-haired Russian Blue (hypo-allergenic) and is the biggest fluffball you've ever seen. Her BFF is Charlotte. Genevieve is usually more reserved than the others, but can be rip-snortin' fun and play hard with her siblings. She loves to chase Charlotte (and will often move other kittens to do it!) all over and climb.Charlotte is a long-haired white and brown tabby. She gets along with EVERYONE. She is active and wants to know everyone's business. She is the 1st kitten to greet you or try something new. She loves life. She is beautiful and she knows it!Prudence is a long-haired white and gray sweetie pie. She is the runt of the litter and is still learning to eat solid food. She is cautious at first, but very loving. She likes to play with her siblings but will often wait on the sidelines and watch before she gets involved. She has lots of cautious, quiet personality and is a cuddler.Nicole is a short-haired, beautifully and uniquely colored light brown tabby. She is a riot - big personality and a barrel of fun. She is very outgoing and loves to try new things first, like her sister, Charlotte, She loves to wrestle, chase, and climb, and loves the crinkle balls.Jules (male) is a handsome short-haired, dark brown tabby with big loving eyes. He loves playing with his siblings and is a curious explorer, and is one of the first to try new things. He greets you at the door, is the first ready to eat, and loves to play with his siblings.Andre (male) is a short/medium haired white and brown tabby. He can always be found snuggling with his siblings, particularly look-alike sister, Charlotte, and loves to play but is mor eon the quiet side. All kittens are loving, cuddly, and playful. All would do best in a quieter home, low to moderate activity. If children, over 5 - 6 years old.All kittens are ready to be pre-adopted now and will be ready to go home in 2 -3 weeks. All are/will be dewormed, spayed/neutered, receive(d) 2 FVRCP vaccines, a rabies vaccine at 4 mos., combo tested, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. If you are interested in pre-adopting (they will go FAST! - just look at them) please fill out an application and email to us at [email protected]. You can learn more about pre-adoptions here: https://www.forgottenfelinesculpeper.org/preadopt  you can also find an application at that website.

Adoption Process
