Second Chance for Cats

Second Chance For Cats is a nonprofit organization set up to spay or neuter homeless felines, and then adopt, relocate, or release these cats. Our goal is to reduce the free roaming cat population in Bluefield, West Virginia and the surrounding area, and to provide ongoing care, including rabies vaccinations, medical treatment, and food for homeless and neglected cats. Our ultimate goal is to have a rescue and no kill shelter.

Meet Love Bug

Love Bug came to us pregnant in 2021.  She had a litter of kittens all of who were adopted and she was adopted as well.  She was returned a few months ago due to moving issues.  She started out very shy at the rescue but has come around beautifully.  This is a big girl who loves to help with dishes and lounging as well.  Her current situation back with us is no reflection on her.  She is a great girl.

Adoption Process
$40 adoption fee, adoption application must be completed, personal and veterinary reference are requested.
