Cinnabon *older kitten*

Forgotten Felines of Culpeper

I have been rescuing for another group for 8 years, that group is in the process of dissolving. I am forming this group because there is a desperate need for it in this area. I believe that every cat deserves to have shelter from the elements, food, and humane care. I am hoping to lower the shelter's euthanasia rates, and help the community by taking in sick, orphaned, and abandoned cats through a network of foster homes, once expansion is necessary.

Meet Cinnabon *older kitten*

Meet Cinnabon! Cinnabon is a beautiful gray and white Agean tabby, about 7 months olfd. She came to us early last August when she was found in a Culpeper garage, darting here and there, frightened to death, but desperately wanting to stay to get food. The Good Samaritan took pity on her, made sure she felt safe and was fed, and contacted us.She came into care, still scared and timid, seemingly with no self-esteem. She was placed in a litter with 3 Donut Boys - Long John, "Boston" Cream, and Zeppole, where she made friends and began to relax and feel safe.Cinnabon is a timid little girl, who takes awhile to warm up, but, like her name, she is so sweet. She loves to play with foil krinkly balls, climb, and wrestle with her friends. She likes to be pet, if you move slowly and is easy to handle. Cinnabon will need a quiet, low activity home with either a patient, loving human she can be a companion to, or a couple with older, calm kids. I think she would also benefit by having a cat friend in her home to snuggle up with  - either one of the Donut Boys or a cat already in the home, but it is not necessary. ($55 discount to adopt 2 cats/kittens.)She is ready to go home with an approved application and is dewormed, spayed, had her FVRCP and Rabies vaccines, combo tested negative, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. You won't need to pay to reregister every year, we've taken care of it! If you can give this sweet girl a home and a family, please let us know. [email protected] or call 540.717.4420 Thank you!

Adoption Process
Once adoption application is approved and references checked, an adoption contract is signed. For all Shrinking Violets - not fully socialized cats - the adoption fee is $25. Requirements of adoption: may not declaw, if for any reason it doesn't work out the cat MUST come back to our organization. The cat's new, adoptive home must be an indoor only one in a quiet, low activity home, with older children. Must take to vet w/in 10 days.
