Meet Nelson

Nelson is a gentle two-year-old with a sleek black coat and soft green eyes that reflect the sadness he’s feeling. Since being surrendered, he has struggled to adjust. He eats very little unless is there to pet him. He is grieving the loss of his home and guardian, quietly spending his days lying in the same spot, too heartbroken to do much else. Nelson craves love and comfort, and he melts into your touch when you hold him or give him neck scratches. He’s not meant for shelter life, and he needs someone who can offer him the love and stability he’s missing so deeply. The cats at Nelson’s previous home did not accept him, and he’s sad about that. So, he is now looking for his own space—somewhere where he can relax, blossom, be himself, and share his love. Adoption Process
Dogs: $100 - Includes Heartworm/Lyme/Ehrlichia Test, DHLPP and Rabies Vaccination, Dewormings, flea and tick treatment (if needed), and Spaying/Neutering. Puppies (0-6 months): $150 - Includes 3 DHLPP Vaccinations, 3 Dewormings, a Certificate for a Rabies Vaccination, flea and tick treatment (if needed), and Spaying/Neutering by a participating veterinarian. Cats: $40 (or 2 for $50) Includes Feline Leukemia/Aids test, 2 RCP Vaccinations, Rabies Vaccination, 2 Dewormings, flea and tick treatment (if needed), and Spaying/Neutering. Kittens (0-6 Months): $80 (or 2 for $120) includes a Feline Leukemia/Aids test, 3 RCP Vaccinations, 3 Dewormings, Certificate for a Rabies Vaccination, flea and tick treatment (if needed), and Spaying/Neutering by a participating veterinarian.
