Meet Johnny Panther
Meet Johnny Panther! Panther is a gorgeously handsome Russian Blue/bobtail mix, about 2 years old. This sweet boy has been in foster care since August when he was found peering into a home, trying to get inside. We believe he was dumped in a rural area as no one contacted to the shelter to say they were missing him, despite him being outside the home for months..Panther is so loving and affectionate and will wrap his world around you. He is very people oriented and, while in his 1st foster home, seemed to get sullen when not with other cats so he was moved to another foster home where he could be with other cats and receive more lovin'. While there, he met his BFF, Ledger. Ledger is a 5 month old kitten (also in care) and the 2 immediately bonded. They do everything together - eat together, play together, sleep together, and even pose elegantly for photos! They need to be adopted together. Johnny needed a friend and Ledger needed someone to look up to. Ledger makes Johnny feel good about himself. They complete each other. There is a $55 discount on bonded pairs. Both boys are ready to go home with an approved application. They would do best in a quiet, moderate activity home with a human(s), or a family with cat friendly kids over the age of 5 years old. They are dewormed, neutered, vaccinated with FVRCP and Rabies vaccines, combo tested negative, and are microchipped with a lifetime registration. You won't need to pay to reregister every year - we've done it for you. Please consider adding these sweet boys to your family. You won't regret it! [email protected] or call 540.717.4420
Adoption Process
Once adoption application is approved and references checked, an adoption contract is signed. For all Shrinking Violets - not fully socialized cats - the adoption fee is $25. Requirements of adoption: may not declaw, if for any reason it doesn't work out the cat MUST come back to our organization. The cat's new, adoptive home must be an indoor only one in a quiet, low activity home, with older children. Must take to vet w/in 10 days.
