Forgotten Felines of Culpeper

I have been rescuing for another group for 8 years, that group is in the process of dissolving. I am forming this group because there is a desperate need for it in this area. I believe that every cat deserves to have shelter from the elements, food, and humane care. I am hoping to lower the shelter's euthanasia rates, and help the community by taking in sick, orphaned, and abandoned cats through a network of foster homes, once expansion is necessary.

Meet Olivia

Meet Olivia! Olivia is a beautiful brown tabby with white paws and chest, approximately a year old. She originally came to us as a kitten with her brothers, Ouchie and Owen (she was very close with both) from a shelter before they were to be euthanized. At that time we wrote in her description, "Olivia is a little rascal. She loves to chase both of her brothers, wrestle, and zoomie around with them. They are always together – she likes to put her little paw on her brothers' head and try to stop them from eating when she is eating. She is a little powerhouse. She is very sweet and likes to be pet and held – just a diva queen."Olivia was adopted as a kitten and was recently returned to us. She is a lovebug and always a hit at PetSmart adoption events. She is playful and silly, and can be a little talkative when it's time to eat (especially of you are late with a meal!) LOL She enjoys watching out the window and will meet you atthe door when she sees you.Her perfect home would be a home as an only cat or with another cat or two (she will become timid with more than two, as in the cat playroom.) She warms up easily to new situations. Kids are fine, but no toddlers, please. She is spayed, has her FVRCP and rabies vaccines, combo tested negative, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. No more paying over $20 every year to reregister - it's done for life! Interested? You can email us at [email protected] or call 540.717.4420 or just fill out our digital application at:  https://submit.jotform.com/221029453063044

Adoption Process
Once adoption application is approved and references checked, an adoption contract is signed. For all Shrinking Violets - not fully socialized cats - the adoption fee is $25. Requirements of adoption: may not declaw, if for any reason it doesn't work out the cat MUST come back to our organization. The cat's new, adoptive home must be an indoor only one in a quiet, low activity home, with older children. Must take to vet w/in 10 days.
