Long John *older kitten*

Forgotten Felines of Culpeper

I have been rescuing for another group for 8 years, that group is in the process of dissolving. I am forming this group because there is a desperate need for it in this area. I believe that every cat deserves to have shelter from the elements, food, and humane care. I am hoping to lower the shelter's euthanasia rates, and help the community by taking in sick, orphaned, and abandoned cats through a network of foster homes, once expansion is necessary.

Meet Long John *older kitten*

Time to meet the Donuts! Meet "Boston" Cream, Long John, and Zeppole! These 3 beautiful 5 1/2 month old boys are friendly, loving, and sweet, and each one has an easy-going, go-with-the-flow personality. They are a joy to be around and have the softest fur you have ever felt! They came into care with Forgotten Felines last July when they were found as young kittens in a backyard. Boston and Long John have a faint white crest on their neck, and seem to spend a lot of time together. We are not sure if they are bonded just yet. Zeppole is a beautiful silky black. All love to play, wrestle, climb, and romp and love affection and attention. They are hard to get photos of because they immediately come to you when they see you! They would make the perfect companion cats and would wrap their world around your world.Boston, Zeppole, and Long John are completely vetted and ready to go home with an approved application. They are dewormed, neutered, have FVRCP and Rabies vaccines, combo tested negative, and are microchipped with a lifetime registration. No need to pay to reregistr every year - we've done it for you! Wouldn't you love to have a donut or two for the holidays? They would LOVE to be with YOU. Contact us at [email protected] or call 540.717.4420.

Adoption Process
Once adoption application is approved and references checked, an adoption contract is signed. For all Shrinking Violets - not fully socialized cats - the adoption fee is $25. Requirements of adoption: may not declaw, if for any reason it doesn't work out the cat MUST come back to our organization. The cat's new, adoptive home must be an indoor only one in a quiet, low activity home, with older children. Must take to vet w/in 10 days.
