Affectionate senior gal looking for love! (Must love drool). Darling Jackie is an 11 year old calico girl who LOVES love! she wants nothing more than to soak up all the attention on her favorite person's lap, but may soak said lap in drool. She can't help it, she just is so happy to be loved that she salivates- an endearing display of how pleased she is to be in your company. Jackie isn't a very active girl so would do well in an apartment setting where she won't keep neighbors up with wild romps in the night. While the humans are away, her hobbies include: trying out every cat bed to determine which is the most comfortable, trying out every piece of furniture to determine which is the most comfortable, and trying out every blanket and rug to determine which is the most comfortable. Though, no blanket, chair or bed can beat the comfort of a human lap! Jackie is a true calico in that she is loyal to her favorite person- putty in thier hands; but she can be a bit sassy to others. Jackie is a healthy senior girl but does show signs of arthritis so she gets monthly injections that help manage any discomfort. Jackie has some scarring on her eye but it is stable, non painful, and does not require treatment. A quiet, caring home where she can spend her golden years would suit Jackie best. Could you be the second chance this senior lady deserves? All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with age-appropriate vaccinations. Senior cats have an adoption fee of $100. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.
