Meet Harley
Meet Harley! At just over 8 pounds, Harley may be small but this little man packs a lot of personality into a small frame! He is long-haired, black and white, and has the cutest white arrow pattern on his head that always points in the direction he’s headed. He is mostly deaf and will meow at you excitedly once he notices your presence - you’ll hear that his crunchy purr resembles the sound of a Harley Davidson! Harley has a very laidback demeanor and is affectionate towards everyone! He is almost 15 years old and quite spry for a senior, though he may need some steps to help him jump up on tall furniture. This little guy has lived with other cats before but he really thrives when he can have one on one attention - Mr. Harley would love to be the center of your world!Harley loves a good catnip toy and snuggling up next to you on the couch or in bed. This affectionate boy loves chin scratches, (gentle) brushing, and will follow you around like your shadow once he has a chance to explore his environment! To maintain his beautiful, healthy coat, he requires daily brushing and may need occasional professional grooming if he develops any large mats.He does have a heart murmur (which requires echocardiograms 1-2 times annually) so he would do best in a lower-energy environment where he can focus on loving his humans and wandering around his domain. He is not on any medication at this time. All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with age-appropriate vaccinations. Senior cats have an adoption fee of $100. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.
