MediumHello there, I am Kylo. I am a special sweetheart looking for a forever home. I was surrendered to the shelter because I didn't like the dog in my last home. If you come in to meet, me you'll totally get why; I am softspoken, gentle, and very mellow. A rambunctious dog is way too much for my sweet soul. It has taken me a long time to come out of my shell here; the shelter is all new to me and very strange. So many new sounds, smells, and so many new people who I don't know. It's actually kind of scary sometimes. The staff visited and worked with me every day to try and get to know me and show me I could be myself. I'm glad they never gave up on me! I am now playful, affectionate, and friendly. Read what the staff say about me:`Kylo first arrived and pretty much broke everyone's hearts by sitting at the back of his cubby. He wasn't hissy, never growled, but instead sat as silent as a statue...which in some ways was worse. We almost wished he would have given us some sass, just so we knew he was in there. We began working with him every day, looking for any sign that he was relaxing, any sign of his real personality. He tolerated pets, munched on treats, but still didn't seem...like himself (and we didn't know who that could even be!). One day, we used a wandy toy and out of nowhere, Kylo emerged! He began playing, batting at the toy, chasing it, and halfway through, he stopped and looked around, as if waking from a deep sleep. His whole demeanor changed and Kylo was finally here. He is now affectionate, sweet, and gentle. He is still very quiet, very laid back, and a super mellow guy all around. If you are looking for a quiet soul to surround you with love, you have GOT to meet Kylo. He'll be just the sweetie for you.`The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial feline distemper combination vaccination- first deworming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption Cost: $50.00FELV/FIV testing can be done for additional $35.00.
