Meet Whiskers

Whiskers is a senior gentleman (estimated 11-15 years old), a resilient cuddlebug looking for his forever home! Whiskers is a sweet, affectionate senior who loves human companionship. His favorite activities are lounging near his people, curling up in laps, and enjoying mealtime. He’s more of a napper than a player, content relaxing in sunny spots or snuggling with humans. He’s calm, gentle, and just happy to be loved. This sweet senior came to us with some chemical burns, which have been steadily healing in foster care. While the injuries don’t seem to bother him anymore, his new family should keep an eye on the affected areas to make sure they stay healthy. It’s possible his fur may never grow back fully in those spots, but that just adds to his charm. It doesn’t slow him down or dampen his spirit one bit; he’s too busy soaking up all the love. Despite his rough past, Whiskers is all about love and cuddles—his heart is fully healed, even if his fur isn’t. Whiskers lives with two adults and two resident cats in a quiet single-family home. He has not been introduced to our resident kitties which suits him well since he prefers to be the only animal. This lovely, sweet boy would thrive in calm, quiet home with adults who are home often and ready to offer him a lap to sleep in and plenty of love. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.
