Here comes little Alex and his string toy. Young Alex is a gentle soul and a sweet delight who, once you’ve put the work in to build his trust (he’ll put you to work!), he’ll repay you by looking deep into your eyes, asking for some scritches and that you accompany him in his favorite pastime of watching the birds out the window.Alex, much like his sister Ava, is a bit timid, and will need a family who can take the time to show him their love and commitment to him. Ava and Alex work together to give each other the courage to explore new spaces, and would prefer to be adopted together. In fact, Alex would love to be adopted with both Ava and his other sister, Samantha, who is far and away the spunkiest cat of the three. She helps bring all of them out of their shells. Alex will need a home with another young cat, so they can direct their kitten energy at each other and not on your furniture. He currently lives with a dog and two older children, so he would do well with a family. However, he would prefer a more quiet home as loud noises and sudden movements startle him. Alex is a night owl! His preferred playtime is when you go to sleep. This is where his sisters will come in handy, so that he can entertain himself with them so that you can have a good rest. And then when he’s done playing, he’ll come lay down at your feet to keep you warm. Give Alex a cat tree with a window view and some time to adjust and he’ll become your best buddy in no time. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
