Meet Griffin (bonded with Rhoda)
Meet Griffin. Ginger lovers beware this guy will steal your heart! This big boy came to us (with Rhoda) after his person passed away. We know very little about them before they arrived, including what names were given to them by the person that loved them before us. They were understandably scared and confused when they first arrived but are starting to adjust to shelter life. They are still a little scared during busy or loud times at the shelter but have been out and about exploring more every day. During quiet times they will walk up to volunteers to request attention. Griffin is the bravier of the two at this point, he was the first to leave the open door area they were in, taking strolls and reporting back to Rhoda, who is now starting to join him occasionally. He sometimes will crawl into the cubby with Rhoda and lay himself in front of her as if he is "protecting her" or trying to help her feel safe. He clearly loves her very much, even though it does not look very comfortable for Rhoda at all as Griffin is a fairly large boy! Because of this connection we require they be adopted together and are listed as a bonded pair. Even though they are "bonded" with each other, neither will have any difficulty bonding with their new person or family. Both cats are exceptionally sweet and appreciative for any time and attention you have to give. They are both kind and gentle with the other cats in the shelter, including all the kittens we have at this time. These two great cats deserve a second chance at a happy life. If you are interested in being a hero for them please apply for this bonded pair. Griffin and Rhoda are fixed, utd on vaccines, and microchipped. If you'd like to meet both of these great kitties please submit an online adoption application at littleorphans.org Please give our Adoption Team a little bit to process all the info. They will communicate primarily thru email, so keep an eye on your inbox and spam folder.
Adoption Process
Upon submission of an application, references are checked and a home visit may be conducted. Adoption fees vary and are included in each pet's description.
