Meet Toast
Toast, aka The Brave Little Toaster, is a gorgeous flame point Siamese boy who is ready for his very own family. When he came into foster care this summer, he was very depressed, scared, and shut down. With love and patience, Toast has blossomed into the most confident, happy sunshine kitty. He deserves to be loved and cherished every day of his life, and is so excited to meet his forever family.About Toast:Toast is still learning "to cat" and definitely needs some friendly kitty friends in his forever home. He would be happiest with at least one other kitty of a playful disposition and age. Toast wants to enjoy all of the happiness in his new life! He loves to groom his kitty friends and show affection with kisses and snuggles. He also loves to wrestle and he is very playful. Toast has not been around young children or dogs in his foster home. He may not be a good fit for dogs, but with gentle hands, he would be fine with children. He's a gentle kid and even when he's scared, he doesn't act out; he'll just hide.Toast has made great progress to becoming a confident and playful cat, and he is making more progress every day! With continued love and patience, he will become more confident and surprise you with even more cute personality traits. For example, Toast did not know how to play at first. However his kitty friends in his foster home have showed him the joys of the scratching post, cat nip, tunnels, Amazon boxes, Yeowww bananas, and even how to play wrestle and chase. In his new home, he may hide for a few weeks until he smells all the smells and understands he is safe. After all, he has only recently learned that he can trust humans. After that, he will show his belly, purr constantly, and sleep in bed every night. He also LOVES to talk, and is very chatty--especially around meal time! The good news is that he loves to sleep in bed with his human and kitty friends, and sleeps through the night happily. He likes to purr and sleep on your feet!Toast also has a very freckled nose, and ice blue eyes, which we think is super cute. He loves to be brushed and has even started to accept head scratches and full body pets. He wants love so badly from his human friends and is still learning how to trust. With this in mind, a rescue minded family would be best for Toast. He will need patience and understanding, and he will show you trust a d happiness, in his own time, in return. He is an absolute gem of a kitty.WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!
Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.
In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:Â
https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic
Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Â Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.
Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.
Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
