Meet Amber!  This absolutely stunning girl is five years young!  Wonderfully sweet and gentle, Amber navigates the world perfectly despite being 60-70% blind.  Her gorgeous, baby doll eyes would tug at any heartstrings!  A perfect companion, once Amber finds her way around the home, she will happily curl up with you and relax.Amber would love to settle into a quiet, cozy environment, preferably a smaller space where she can easily find her way around without loud distractions. Once she's comfortable, she loves to snuggle up with you on the couch or perch on the windowsill, basking in the sunshine and watching the world go by.  She’s even learning to love to sleep in the bed at night time!Amber enjoys life on the quiet side. She was previously fine in a home with other cats, but she would also be content as a solo feline in the household. A family with older, gentle children would be an excellent fit for Amber. To cater to her vision needs, a larger, high-walled litter box would be ideal for this special girl. Most importantly, Amber needs a home with people who can give her plenty of love and attention! In a loving and kind home she’ll get acclimated in a heartbeat.Amber may be small in size, but her appetite is as big as her beautiful eyes! This girl can eat! When she’s not curled up for naptime, Amber loves to play!  She loves toys with bells, and her current favorite is her feather toy with a bell that she loves to snatch out of the air. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
