Meet Lisa – The Confident Lap Cat & Work-from-Home Assistant! Lisa is a bold, outgoing, and affectionate young kitty who knows exactly how to steal the spotlight—especially when you’re busy! Whether it’s a work meeting or a quiet evening at home, Lisa will make sure she’s front and center, often leaping onto your lap or even perching on your shoulder to “help” with your tasks. With her motor-like purrs filling the room and her tiny paws tapping at your keyboard, she’s the ultimate office assistant—though she might be more of a distraction than a productivity booster!While Lisa thrives on attention and loves being with her people, she’s also independent enough to entertain herself when needed. She enjoys the company of other cats, gets along well with gentle children, and is even comfortable with her foster family’s small dog—though she keeps her distance and isn’t looking to be besties with him anytime soon! Since Lisa is still young, she’ll need a feline friend in her forever home, and she would love for that friend to be her beloved sister, Maggie. These two are inseparable—always playing, exploring, napping, and cuddling together. While Lisa is the bold and bossy sister, Maggie tends to be more on the shy side. But this makes them the perfect duo, balancing each other out with their playful and loving bond. Lisa is a natural leader and the boss of the house, always ready to explore, play, and claim the best spot on your lap. She’s an adventurous spirit who loves chasing toys, with a special fondness for sticks with strings or feathers at the end. She especially loves playing tag with Maggie all over the house when they get the zoomies!If you’re looking for a confident, affectionate, and playful kitty who will keep you company (and occasionally take over your work calls), Lisa is your girl! Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
