Meet Lucy

Meet Lucy!  Lucy came to FFF from Kentucky where she was an owner surrender for being pregnant.  Surprise!  She wasn't!  Their loss is our gain!  Lucy is a sweetheart!  We are still learning about her so can't yet speak to her loves but she is super sweet and would never hurt a fly!  We think. =). She will sit in your lap for pets.  She will talk to you with her quiet meows, especially if you put her in a carrier!  She enjoys it if you sit next to her while she eats.  Lucy is going to require a very special home.  All of this change has been a lot on her.  Some days she is brave but she often hides.  She will need a very patient adopter.  She will need a calm, quiet house.  We do not think she would thrive with children or busy homes as we fear she would spend her time hiding and this little lady needs to roam!  While she has not yet met resident cats in her foster home, she is very curious about them!  They visit her through the window in the microchip door and she likes to watch them.  She has not hissed at them at all.  We actually think being in a home with another cat will help build her confidence so would love to find her a home with a perfect new feline bestie.  We are still learning about her so will be updating this as we do but want to help her on her way to her forever!  If you have that perfect quiet, patient home that Lucy needs, please apply for her today!  WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION.  PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO BE IMMEDIATELY CONNECTED TO A SCREENER.Apply at online application (catsfff.org/adopt)View all of our adoptable cats here (catsfff.org/cats)Our adoption fees are listed here (catsfff.org/adoption-fees)

Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
