Meet Nebula
Meet Nebula, a young, lively feline who's sure to charm you with her unique personality. Despite breaking her rear leg at about 8 weeks old, she's full of spirit and curiosity, eager to follow her humans and explore her surroundings. The break is completely healed and Nebula has no problems keeping up and playing with her foster’s resident cats, or previously her siblings and other foster cats in the home. Her playful nature is infectious, filling any room with joy. She's also a cuddly companion, always seeking a warm lap to curl up on, or feet to keep warm! Nebula is friendly, greeting everyone with a soft purr. Her sitting style might be a bit unusual due to some residual tightness in her leg, but it only adds to Nebula's resilience. Her loving nature makes Nebula a wonderful companion. She's a testament to the strength and sweetness of fostered pets. Adopt Nebula and bring a bundle of joy and love into your life.
Adoption Process
Adoption applications must be completed, which include information regarding references and vet clinic information, DL #, names, etc. Reference checks are conducted and when necessary vetting information verified. Discussion about the animal interested in to best assure appropriate and proper placement is made, and educational information regarding how to manage a multi-dog/animal household, slow and proper introductions and the importance of a shut-down period to help the animal acclimate to new surroundings. A "meet and greet" with the animal is required and whenever possible all residents of the household should be present. Home checks may, but not always, be necessary. After adoption applications is approved a contract is required, where we also stipulate that if for any reason the adopter determines they no longer want or can care for the animal we require it be returned to us, with the exception of documented bite history or potentially dangerous or dangerous dog designations. Adoption fees vary, but are comparable to or less than other local rescues and typically are $300 or less for a canine and $150 for a feline.
