Meet Spy

Spy came to Almost Home all the way from south Texas where she was mama of two litters of kittens. She was named Spy because of her “secret agent” looks in her dapper tuxedo coat! Spy was diagnosed with FeLV+, and she developed a head tilt, but that doesn’t stop her! The tilt could be related to FeLV, or due to a separate issue. Read more about FeLV in the link below. She has been monitored very closely since coming to us, and so far she is doing well. Because the FeLV virus may affect Spy’s brain, it will be very important for her to have consistent monitoring of her attitude, energy level, and appetite. Spy’s forever family should also watch for any abnormal eye changes, movements, or seizure-like activity. If she shows any of these signs, she should be seen by a veterinarian immediately. Spy also has enlarged lymph nodes, which can be attributed to her FeLV status. Spy needs to have regular vet checkups and bloodwork completed. We are happy to report that her recent bloodwork came back great! Spy loves warm fuzzy beds and sunny windows, and she loves to be scratched at the base of her tail. Spy loves to watch the birds and squirrels on TV, and she will try to catch each one! We are looking for an extra special family to adopt this amazing girl!
