Are you looking for a shot of espresso in your day-to-day life? Little Nico may just be the guy for you! This silly boy will zoom his way right into your heart with his saucy sneak attacks on his toy mice (wait, was that just a crumpled up piece of paper?) and his flittering to the feather toys. He’s a clumsy boy who sometimes gets so excited he runs into doors! He adores showing his belly but beware–it is NOT an invitation to scritch. It’s all a front!Nico is a delight to be with and will need to go to a home with another young cat to help him spend his energy and learn how to cat. His cat sibling will also need to be able to stand up for themselves because Nico sure likes to think he’s the boss and honestly, sometimes he needs another feline friend to remind him that sharing is caring and that he’s not the boss of everyone. He would do well in a home with older children who can learn cat body language and can see when Nico is getting a little wound up and needs some space. He’s lived with other cats and dogs and could really do well in any fast-paced household.Despite his grown age, Nico is still learning to cat. He could spend hours chasing his tail and has been known to jump in the shower with you to–well we’re not really sure what he’s trying to do in the shower, but it’s too cute not to share. Once he’s finally chilled out, he’ll come cuddle on your lap and spend some time getting some loving from his favorite humans. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
