Meet Aisling
Aisling (or "Ash") is a stunning grey-blue beauty with an adorable personality to match. Ash has overcome so much in the last year, and is so deserving of a forever home with her sister, Orla! Aisling and Orla are a bonded pair of sisters who ended up at Chicago Animal Care and Control after their owner was evicted. The CACC shelter is a loud and stressful environment, especially for more delicate, senior kitties like Aisling and Orla. Thankfully, they were pulled out of the shelter by FFF and placed in foster care. Even once they made it to a foster home, both Orla and Aisling were still very fearful and unsure. Aisling was so fearful and shut down at the shelter, staff were unsure if she was socialized to people at all. Even once she was rescued by FFF and placed in a foster home, Ash spent almost all of her time hiding. With some time and patience, these darling girls started to warm up and show their true, affectionate personalities. Now, Ash loves pets and attention, as well as just being around her humans.Ash is bonded with her sister, Orla, so they are looking for a home together. These adorable and friendly sisters get along with other cats, and would probably do well with patient and gentle children. These two have not yet met any dogs, but they would likely be able to adjust to a canine friend as long as they are given a patient and gradual introduction.Despite being an adorable little old lady, Ash will still get the zoomies and loves to play! She particularly likes catnip mice! Ash can take a minute to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, you have a friend for life! She will hang out in the kitchen while you cook, join you on the couch for a movie, and even come with you to the bathroom!Ash loves attention and is so affectionate! She is adorable when she wants your attention, she will even gently tap you with one of her front paws to tell you it’s time for love! Ash and Orla and an incredible pair of adorable, bonded siters who have been through a lot. These two can’t wait to find a loving forever home they can relax in and fill with love!If you are interested in giving these two sweet sisters a forever home, complete an application at the link below!WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!
Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.
In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:Â
https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic
Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Â Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.
Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.
Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
