Meet Roxie
Roxie Domestic Shorthair, Born in February 2023, Grey Tabby, Spayed female Hey there! I’m Roxie, your future feline best friend, and I’m on the hunt for my forever home. I may be a gray tabby, but trust me, I’m a golden find! I was surrendered by my previous owners (no hard feelings, I promise) and I’m just looking for a fresh start with someone who will give me the love and patience I deserve. I’m a sweet girl, calm and gentle, and I’m still learning to trust new people—don’t worry, I’m making progress, one cozy cuddle at a time. I’m a little picky about my food, but hey, a girl’s gotta figure out what she likes, right? I’m also learning what it’s like to feel safe and loved, and when I do, I’ll shower you with affection. Plus, I’m not just a cuddle bug; I love to play! Feather wands and crinkly toys are my jam. And don’t even get me started on brushing—I could sit there all day while you pamper me. So, if you’ve got a lap and a little patience to offer, I’d love to be your Roxie—purrfectly sweet, a little shy, but ready to be your best friend. Let's make some memories together! Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
