Meet Ese

Ese came in with his sisters, Si and Am (yes—Siamese!), and an adult male named Boris. From the start, Ese decided it was his job to protect his sisters. While his heart was in the right place, all that responsibility made it harder for any of them to grow and trust.   Now that he’s learning to focus just on himself, Ese is coming out of his shell. Where he once hid and greeted people with a fearful hiss (purely for show), he’s now approaching for pets and starting to enjoy the good things in life.   Ese—nicknamed Earl in foster care—loves chasing wand toys, darting after the laser pointer, licking up Churu squeeze treats, watching "Cat TV," and lounging on the cat tree in a sunbeam. He’s chatty, curious, and open to cat companionship.   He may need a little time to readjust in a new home, but with patience and kindness, he’ll reward you with trust, fun, and affection.
