Meet Gordo
Gordo is the ultimate floofy “Big Boy” and would be a wonderful addition to a bustling household. He’s calm, chill, and about as perfect as they come. Whether you’re looking for a companion who’ll follow you around, curl up on your lap, or just hang out while you do your thing, Gordo is your guy. He’ll follow you everywhere you go and just look up at you with his sweet, beautiful face. Gordo has a playful side, too: he’s an expert climber and loves to hunt flies – get ‘em, Gordo! But whether he’s climbing to new heights, just lounging by your side, or having some alone time, Gordo will always be the perfect companion. He’s incredibly easygoing and doesn’t mind a lot of hubbub in his current foster home. He along with just about everyone—other cats, dogs, kids, and even chickens! Yes, Gordo’s got two rooster friends and he’s perfectly fine with them. He has met just about everyone: large to small dogs, cats, children and teens, and has remained the ultimate chill dude. Loud noises, like those on New Year’s Eve, don’t faze him—he’s just as calm as ever. He’s also one of the few cats who doesn’t mind a bath. Seriously, Gordo allows you to give him one, making him even more of a dream cat. This gorgeous guy loves his long fur brushed, and he’ll happily sit there, purring away, as you give him all the attention. Gordo is a fan of fun and games, too—laser pointers, anything with feathers, plastic and paper bags, boxes, strings, balls—you name it, Gordo’s there, ready for action. He’s especially fond of watching bird videos on YouTube, where his feline instincts come alive as he watches the birds on screen. But don’t be fooled—he's equally happy being your calm and cuddly companion, always ready for a snuggle session. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate cat who gets along with everyone and loves both playtime and snuggle time, Gordo is the one for you. He truly deserves to live his best life in a home where he’ll be loved and cherished every day! Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!
Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.
In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:Â
https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic
Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Â Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.
Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.
Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
