Meet Gabi! If you’re looking for a cat who will always be by your side, Gabi is your girl. This sweet and affectionate lady thrives on human attention and can never get enough pets! She is a total people cat—always looking for love and ready to return it tenfold. Whether you're sitting on the couch, working at your desk, or just moving around the house, Gabi will be right there, hoping for a little affection.Gabi isn’t very fond of other pets and would love to be the only animal in the household. She wants to be the star of the show and receive all the love and attention without having to share the limelight. Because of this, she would do best in a quiet, calm, home where she can be the center of attention and shower her humans with love in return. She would likely do well with gentle, older kids who understand cat behavior and respect her boundaries.While she’s not the most playful kitty, she does have moments where she’ll bat at a small toy or chase after a string toy. But for the most part, she prefers lounging and relaxing with her favorite humans. She enjoys perching in her cat tree, observing her surroundings, and taking long, peaceful naps. However, the second you call her over or offer her a few head scratches, she’ll be right there to soak up every bit of attention.Gabi is an independent girl, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t affectionate—she loves to snuggle up next to people when it’s time to unwind. Though she isn’t a fan of being picked up, she’ll tolerate it for a short time, especially if it means getting even more love. Her foster mom especially adores the way Gabi bobs her head when she wants pets—it’s her signature move, and it’s absolutely adorable!This sweet lady deserves a forever home where she can feel safe, adored, and cherished. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
