Name: Ying and Yang Breed:  Domestic Shorthairs Age:  3-4 months Gender:  Female/Male Adoption Fee:   $125 each or $225 for both Why in Rescue:   surrender  General Profile:  Please fill out the adoption application at www.bichonrescues.com/adoption.html if you are interested in meeting one of our felines.  Both kittens are very friendly Ying the white girl is a little more shy and takes a little longer to warm up but loves to play with toys. Yang the black male is very friendly and wants to be on your lap but also is very playful. They love to wrestle with each other.  They are in a foster home now, but came from an Amish farm where they were outside without protection from the elements.  We took them in so they could be loved pets enjoying life instead of living outside. Adoption Procedures: 1.  Completely fill out the pre-adoption application.  We will be checking with your vet if you have had pets, calling your landlord (if any) and checking a personal reference, before we contact you about visiting the adoptables.  Any missing information may have us moving onto another application. 2.  If you application is approved, we will contact you to come meet the adoptables that you are interested in.   3.  If it is a match, you will complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.  Please be prepared to take your adopted pet home when you come meet him/her.  In most cases, you will be able to take the pet home the same day.  If all the vetting hasn't been done yet, we will hold the pet for you until the vet work is completed.  4.  If you have filled out an application and we haven't contacted you within a week, we may have missed your application, the pet may have been adopted by another applicant, or you may have been missing information on your application.  You may contact us to find out the status of your application at this time.  Please give us a week to process your application before contacting us!   All kittens are spayed/neutered, have a vet exam, started on kitten vaccinations, are microchipped and started deworming.  If you have been thinking about adding a kitten to your family, ask for more information on the felines at Bichon and Little Buddies!  Adoption fee for kittens is $125.   If you are interested in meeting any of the pets at Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue, please fill out the pre-adoption application.  After reviewing the application, we will get in touch with you to set up an appointment to meet with the dog/cat you are interested in. All dogs/cats are seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.  Many are in various foster homes getting extra one on one attention getting them ready for their new homes.  The first step in adoption is filling out the pre-adoption application.  Bichon and Little Buddies is run by volunteers who have full time jobs in addition to the hours they spend with the rescue animals.  Having an application on file assures us that the potential adopter is really interested in adopting a pet.  It also assists us in placing our animals in homes where both the pet and new owners are happy.  The application puts you under no obligation to adopt a dog or cat from Bichon and Little Buddies. The online Pre-Adoption Application can be found at http://www.bichonrescues.com/adoption.html and click on the link for the cat application.  Once you submit the form online you will get an email confirmation, and then we will contact you once we review the application. Thanks for thinking about adopting your new pet!

Adoption Process
Before meeting with a dog, a pre-adoption application must be completed. After the application is approved, a meeting is arranged between the adopter and the pet. An adoption contract is signed, adoption fee paid (generally $350), and the dog is able to go to the new home once all medical care is given. Dogs are fully vetted, including vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter, heartworm test, deworming, dental if needed, and other procedured needed by the particular dog. Adopters are required to return the dog to us if they are unable or unwilling to care for the dog in the future.
