Hi I'm Zoe!! I'm a pretty brindle gal, just about 4-5 years old and a fit 40 pounds. I've had a bit of a rocky start in life, not because I'm a bad girl, but because not everyone is as kind to us fur-kids as they should be. I saw a T-shirt on someone visiting the Ark that pretty well sums me up - it said 'I like dogs more than I like people'. Well, I'm the complete opposite - I love people more than I like dogs!!! Now, don't get me wrong, I do like some dogs, but some I just don't have any patience with, and I prefer women to men most of the time but I do make exceptions! I'm not a gal who wants to live in the past, I just need someone to love me the way I deserve to be loved, focus on the future with me and not the past, and I promise I'll be a love-bug forever!! When I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, and the most guesses were that I'm an American Staffy mix, but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!! ** Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.
