175FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED!! Meet Louis! This handsome boy was born to a street dog momma that a Good Samaritan in our community had been feeding. Louis was able to be caught but has only found a very temporary foster and needs a more permanent situation asap! Mom is a black lab but dad is unknown. Based on his spots… maybe some type of pointer. He will be a large breed adult. He’s around 10-12 weeks and 10 lbs. He is very sweet and playful. Good with all people and animals. He’s being neutered today and can get second vaccines next week and will then be adoption ready. We are taking apps now on this boy!! Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Adoption Process
Our fee is $175 to cover vetting. Our dogs are adopted with age appropriate vaccinations, decals, dewormer, exams, heartworm test, spay/neuter, preventions and treated for any illness or injury.
