Breed: Pitbull Gender: Female Estimated Date of Birth: 4/9/2021 Size: 52 pounds Location: Wedowee, AL RESCUING BELLA... Bella was running loose in downtown Wedowee frantic and fearful. Concerned citizens networked her on social media and she was picked up by two men who chained her to the front bumper of their car in their front yard. The original owner was located and was unable to care for Bella and on 4/1/2024 she was signed over to the rescue to find her a new loving forever family. ABOUT BELLA... Bella is living in our rescue cottage with other dogs. She is happy-go-lucky, friendly and loves everyone and everything. She is a very loving and energetic and just the sweetest most beautiful girl with green eyes! She loves all other dogs and loves to play and lay in the sun. She was born with a deformed front right paw but she does walk on it and use it. There is no treatment for it and she is not in any pain and it does not slow her down! Her special paw is what makes her so special! She is crate trained and housebroken. She currently has a fenced in yard and does well on a leash. She does well with children and wants to be with her people. She will also give a warning bark if someone approaches the home. ADOPTING BELLA... Bella is spayed, current on all vaccines, dewormed, heartworm tested negative, microchipped and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Her adoption fee is $200.00. Adoption Process
All adopters must complete a lengthy adoption application as well as sign an adoption contract. We require a phone interview, a meet and greet with dogs and a home visit with dogs. We also require all current animals be fixed, current on vaccines and on heartworm preventative which we confirm via a vet reference check. Our adoption fee is $250.00.
