Meet Junior

CHI RESCUE UPDATE!!  The pups made it to their fosters and are settling in. All are timid as to be excepted but coming around. Some faster than others. This Boy is Junior. He is a 2 year old  chi. He weighs 8lbs. He’s  timid but doing well in his foster home and coming out of his shell more and more. Junior will need a older - calmed home that has patience for him to adjust. He does well with other dogs and doing well in the house. He will be adoption ready in a few weeks once he’s settled, healed and fully vetted.  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Adoption Process
Our fee is $175 to cover vetting. Our dogs are adopted with age appropriate vaccinations, decals, dewormer, exams, heartworm test, spay/neuter, preventions and treated for any illness or injury.
